(HealthDay News) -- Pink eye, also known as conjunctivitis, is a common condition that is easily passed from person to person.
Here are the most common symptoms of pink eye, courtesy of the Nemours Foundation:
- Red or pink-tinted eyes or eyelids.
- Swollen eyes.
- Eye discharge.
- Painful, irritated or itchy eyes, like something has gotten in it.
- Frequent tearing.
- Light sensitivity.
